Below are two frames from two different UFO videos, the one on top, the glowing orange lights, it currently rendering.  The bottom image if of a canceled video, it just didn't look very good.

Alien Structure

As a fun project today I did a large alien structure, maybe a spaceship or base, lot's of glowing lights.

The scene is around 700,000 polys.

Battle Mech 3

My third battle mech so far, and my favorite Blender project so far, all done in one day (although might make a few small tweaks later).

The whole thing is about 200K polys and verts.

New Free Top-Down Spaceship Sprites!

Added some new sprites to the free sprites page, these are complete with normal maps as well as top-down lighting to unsure the normal maps will result in even lighting from all 360 degrees, as per a suggestion I received. Enjoy!

Mech No. 2

I kinda liked the result of the last mech so I decided to do another try at it, this one looks a tad more human. Kinda makes me think of the terminator now that I look at it haha.
Did a little bit more post-editing on this one with Gimp.
It has 4096x4096 textures, however I can't sell it, it's only a front half, not to mention the fact it was auto-unwrapped and has a few texture problems.
Now wheres my 20-story 3D printer.

Mech

Made a mech, it uses some image textures for the edge effects but the camouflage is done with a procedural texture. Done in a day (more like half a day most likely), the back half isn't done so I'm not planning on doing anything else with this model.

Free Top Down Spaceship Sprite

Apparently plenty of my traffic is people looking for spaceship sprites, so thought I'd make another free one for y'all, here's a kinda stylized alien-ish spacecraft of sorts, feel free to use it for your game or whatever, just be sure to link back or put MillionthVector in your credits somewhere, thanks.

More Frames

Here's two more frames from the video I'm working on, have at least 30 seconds of video (probably closer to 40) rendered so far, seems to be progressing at a steady but slow pace, I haven't gotten the entire video figured out though, especially the ending, nope, still not saying what it's about.

I have a name for it but I'm thinking the name is too simple, not that I mind a simple name, I'm just worried it's been used before. Nope, not telling you it's name, that would reveal the video.

Video Frames

Two frames from my latest project, a rather large project it is. I want to make a short film, I'm not going to reveal too much about the main idea of it right now, but the two frames above give you an idea of the style I am going for.
The second image is a frame that has about five million polys, but I'm using some lighting tricks so rendering isn't too bad.
I want the final video to be 720 px high resolution video, I'm glad I have a hard drive that should be able to handle that now :D.

Spaceship Scene

Here's a scene I made up to show off my latest model, a manta-ray styled spacecraft. Gimp was used to put the scene together, Blender was used for rendering out certain elements.

Here's the model by itself:

And also here's a link to it for sale, with more angles, wireframe and UV test grid textured views:

Game Avatar

I made this for my avatar in a game I play, I had it in red light, but it looked way too cylon. Tangent shading is the trick to that metal appearance.
