Finished a new model spacecraft and decided to make a scene with it and an older project of mine. Had it all been done in a single blend file, it would have required about 4-5 million polygons.
I really like all of your art would you be interested in making art for a video game? All I would really need is something like your 2D/3D ships. It will be paid of course since your the artist I guess the price is up to you.
Hmm, unfortunately I don't have the licensing required to do freelance work at this time, but if you don't mind sharing, I can add work to the "free sprites" sections that fits your needs.
consistency is very important to me so i would want everything done by the same artist and i would never want any to do the amount of work i require for free. There are plenty of artists out there who are actively looking for someone to give them work. Maybe even someone wanting to do space themed stuff ill just look for one of them thanks anyway.
I am just here to do what many others would most likely have thought about: Thanking you big time. FOr the inspiration, the models, all the good you have done for start-up game desginers like myself.
I hope this doesn't sound to dramatic, but I really believe you are one of the heroes of our time. None which will be sung about, sure, but still. It's really big. At least for some of us.
Wow, thank you very much. I really don't think I'm deserving of such compliments, but I'll take them anyways, thanks you very much! I'm just happy people can make good use of this stuff.
Thank you! For this image I used Blender to model the 3D spaceship, Substance Painter was used to texture the spaceship, and Gimp was used to put the renders together into a single scene.
Look great
ReplyDeleteBoh! I love it! :D
ReplyDeleteI am really impressed. That looks pretty effin' ominous! I think I'd be very very quiet if that suddenly jumped into my sector.
Thanks! It was actually intended as more of a cargo ship, but maybe it can do other things too. :)
